Getting Involved

Nova Scotia is a province with something to offer all students. If you study abroad in Nova Scotia, you will meet many other students, make new friends and have a whole lot of fun while improving your knowledge with great courses and programs.

There is so much for you to do here as a student that you will never be bored. If you'd like to make the most of your personal potential outside the classroom, you will have countless opportunities to do so.

Nova Scotia's campuses, schools and communities will encourage you to broaden your horizons and feel comfortable just being yourself.

You can get involved in numerous societies, multicultural associations and art, language and general-interest clubs.

You can join the student council, sports teams, a theatre group or take a language class such as English, French, Spanish or German. Or you can volunteer for a community organization or charity. Extra-curricular activities are encouraged for a complete experience.

Canadian Immigration rules allow you to work while you are studying in Nova Scotia. You may choose to work part-time, either on or off-campus.

What you do is up to you!
